A Dialog Between Friends
I actually have the EXACT conversation saved in my PDA, but I'll spare you my uber nerdiness.
So a couple of my friends are chatting one day and to paraphrase:
Danny: It won't be long before Britney Spears is playing in casinos in Tunica.
Paul: No way... she's gonna be a star 'til the day she dies.
So when I see headlines like "Britney Shaves Off Hair After Leaving Rehab" and then there are sites like BuyBritneysHair.com, who am I to believe is the more correct of my two friends?

Yeah, I was definitely wrong on that one. She went straight from mega-super-duper-pop-star to crazy-michael jackson-anna nicole-weirdo (yeah, I said that a week after anna nicole's death, but it's still true).
The meaning of my statement of course was that she'd be singing in casinos soon afterwards, but she's way beyond that. Unless she marries some 90 year old rich dude (better grow her hair back first) or buys the licensing rights to a rock legend's music, we should look for her at the casino slot machines instead.
And yes, you can quote me on that. :)
