A Shout Out for My Fallen Homey
Dr. Morris Lebovitz was LP's ob/gyn and delivered both our wonderful girls. He died this past Saturday after a very long battle with cancer, one in which I figured he had won.

What a wonderful friend Dr. Lebovitz was to me throughout our brief friendship.
When he found out I was going to run my first marathon, he sent me a book on training for marathons and wrote words of encouragment on the inside cover. Throughout training, I could always count on him to keep me going.
We remained friends after the marathon and I will treasure and miss our conversations and laughs.
I hope he knew what a difference he made to me.
It brings me comfort knowing that he is no longer suffering and in a better place.
