No Pick Ups Here?

Living in LA-- Lower Alabama, Eufaula, the Lake City-- had some cool advantages. One being living so close to the beach that you could make a day trip of it.

After a particularly disastrous night of pickups on a weekend at the beach last year (hahahaha, caught you sleeping LP. It was more like 18 years ago) my friend, Cale Brown, and I vowed that any girl who had not been picked up by 3am was not worth picking up. How philosophical. But Cale was smart like that. Yeah, we made 3:01 ups and the better idea was to just go back to car, drink some more wine coolers and catch some shut eye.

And that's how I feel about this year's primaries. No candidate is exciting me-- neither Republican nor Democrat. I'm not gonna pick one up just to say I did.

So is my voice going to be heard by NOT voting? I mean, Cale and I should have cut it off when we knew better. Do I do the same at the poll?

Did I take crazy pills? I don't want to start a political debate here, but is ANYONE out there excited about our choices this election year?
